Burramatta NAIDOC Concert
For over 60,000 years the Burramattagal people have called Parramatta home. WARAMI recognises and celebrates their continued connection to the land and community. Parramatta always was and always will be a gathering place.
In response to COVID-19, WARAMI festival, usually held on NAIDOC week went online. After a month long program including programs for National Sorry Day and National Reconciliation Week, the festival concluded with a live concert featuring the best up-and-coming Indigenous musicians featuring Barkaa, Maddi Lyn, Evie Jay Willie, Bow and Arrow and comedian Sean Choolburra.
